On Colours of Change, Justine Cormack and Sarah Watkins present violin and piano sonatas from Claude Debussy, Leoš Janáček and Béla Bartók – all works written in the years during and immediately following the First World War.
Each of these three works is unique, yet they are all highly improvisatory, expressive and colourful, born of the same volatile time.
